OUR MISSION

Vermont Creative Software specializes in the creation and support of sophisticated, innovative and reliable programming tools for professional programmers.

Vermont Creative Software is located in Richford, Vermont — a small town in far northern Vermont, right on the Canadian Border. We appreciate the rural life, and subscribe to the old-time Vermonter's code "to be honest, reliable and work hard."

Founded in 1984, Vermont Creative Software markets only the software it develops. Vermont Creative Software is a company run by developers for developers.

PRODUCTS

The first product of Vermont Creative Software, Windows for C, was released in January 1984, making it among the earliest third-party library for C programmers. Windows for C evolved into Windows for Data and then into Vermont Views, a complete development system for creating user interfaces portable among DOS, UNIX, VMS and other related operating systems.

Ghost, our first software testing tool was released in 1991 for DOS. Ghost went through several generations of development and name revisions, emerging in 1994 as Vermont Test. A variation of this product, Vermont Test/Terminal allows you to test host-based applications over a serial connection to the host machine.

With the success of our DOS testing tool, we looked at the Windows platform. Vermont HighTest, an automated software testing tool for Windows applications was released in 1993. This product continues to evolve and now in version four is the easiest to use GUI automated software testing tool on the market. This product continues to be our primary focus and will gain additional capabilities as we continue to dedicate our resources to it.
