Vermont Views Plus
For Advanced DOS Applications

DOS SPECIFICATIONS

This page contains ONLY information that is specific to the operating system that this version runs on. For a complete description of Vermont Views, go to the Vermont Views main product page.

The Plus in Vermont Views Plus
Vermont Views Plus gives you the same libraries and screen designher shared by all versions of Vermont Views - plus three important extras that are essential for today's DOS applications: MemEx for moving beyond the 640K memory limitation of conventional DOS; GraphEx for adding graphics to applications; and Full source code for making the most of Vermont Views functions and structure.

MemEx
This extension breaks the 640K barrier of conventional DOS. With the increasing complexity and sophistication of programs is an increase in size. MemEx invisibly handles the translation of Vermont Views to work with all popular 16-bit and 32-bit DOS Extenders. Vermont Views does the work so you don't have to.

GraphEx
Applications can run in a graphic mode rather than a character mode with GraphEx. This extension replaces low-level video routines that transparently translate character representations into graphics modes. This makes it easy to add graphs, bar charts, and pictures to your applications.

Fully Documented Source Code
Understanding how our functions and codes interact with yours will help you to use your debugger more effectively. Our source code is fully commented and elegantly structured. It's an excellent source for learning C's finer points, including use of pointers to functions, efficient memory management techniques, using macros, handling errors consistently and writing portable, maintainable code.

NO SYSTEM IS MORE PORTABLE THAN VERMONT VIEWS
